WhatsApp announced a much sought-after feature at the Galaxy Unpacked event, namely transferring chat history from iPhone to Samsung devices without any hassle. One announced that you can finally transfer chat history from WhatsApp to your iPhone 12 running Android devices and Pixel in a blog post.
So, how is this finally possible after years of waiting? This is what Google said,
“So starting today, you can securely transfer your chat history and memories from your WhatsApp account on iPhone to Android. We’ve worked with the WhatsApp team to develop a new set of capabilities, which All iPhone : Designed to switch to Android and take your WhatsApp history with you.
Now, the first concern that comes to mind is privacy, and Google assures us that their team has worked closely with WhatsApp to ensure that data remains secure throughout the process. .

How to transfer?
The first thing you’ll need is a USB Type-C to Lightning cable. When setting up a new Android device, you’ll be prompted to scan a QR with your iPhone. A QR code will pop up on your android device. Once scanned, all your chat history with Media will be available on your new Android device.
During the migration process, you will not receive any messages on your old device. The messages will appear on your new device.
This feature has been available for Samsung devices for some time now. It is now also available for Pixel devices and will be available for devices launching with Android 12.
